I am humbled to be part of a movement to bring awareness and help to brothers and sisters in Christ who are being beaten, displaced, and even martyred at the hands of the radical Muslim group ISIS.
Christians in northern Iraq have had their houses painted with the Arabic letter n: ن. It stands for NASARA, or followers of Jesus of Nazareth. A house painted with this symbol means its inhabitants are declared to be targets for extortion, harm, or even death.
ن This symbol, meant for terror, has now become a symbol for a deeper commitment to Christ.
I purchased a t-shirt and some wrist bands from the website
www.I-am-n.com to help spread awareness, and to help raise funds to support our brothers and sisters in Christ being targeted by ISIS. I pray that you will do you part as well.
While praying for the persecuted church is certainly important, we must put hands and feet on those prayers. Supporting mission work like The Voice of the Martyrs is one way we can do just that. Whatever you can do, please do it.
